Gimme shoes

I'm having a serious case of the Wednesdays (translation: same as a case of the Mondays, only salvation looms closer). Thankfully, there's such a thing as shoes to distract me. San Francisco-based shoe purveyor Gimme Shoes is having a 15% off any purchase sale with use of code WHM09 (ends 3/31).

My picks:


Dries Van Noten silver metallic slingback pump. Shine is huge this season and silver metallic is a fun way to get the effect without having to go the patent route. This pump is also polished enough to wear to work.
Pour La Victoire 'Edwarda' leather heel. Metallic shades continue to be strong this year, and this version features a lower heel, comfortable for days when you don't want to totter around in your sky-high platforms. I would use this heel to finish off jeans, a casual top and a blazer for a low-key dinner out with friends, or a quick coffee.
