I love seeing new blogs and sites pop up. The blogs I frequent are a mix of style, design, personal and craftsman-type sites where artisans posts pics of their work. Not only are these sites inspiring in that you see all the amazing work people are producing all over the globe, it's also particularly interesting to get insight on how so many different people are living their lives.
Blogger-world is particularly dominated by those who don't necessarily fit (or want) the normal, 9 to 5 office life, and it's comforting to see all those taking a different work and life path, and making it work for them.
My current daily reads:
Sweet Fine Day: Blogger and small business owner Jenna writes about the daily triumphs and travails of life in Brooklyn and running her own business alongside her husband. I especially enjoy reading Jenna's writing because she's totally frank about the ups and downs of family life in New York on a limited budget, being your own boss, and just being an adult in general.
Penelope Trunk's Blog: Nothing fashion related. Like Jenna, I just enjoy reading Penelope's brutally honest take on trying to juggle career, family, work, while maintaining her sanity! Her writing is usually career-focused, and with a lot of recent job changes and some career-related soul searching I've been doing recently, it's fun and comforting to read writing as brutally direct as hers is.

9 to 5 Chic: Anh, a marketing manager by day, uses this blog as her fashion and creative outlet. Pure eye candy, she wears the cutest outfits and looks absolutely fabulous in every one. And she has a killer shoe collection.
Brooklyn to West: Love seeing images of woodworker Ariele Alasko's work; she creates every piece from salvaged work and specializes in making functional wood items (headboards, tables, kitchen tools) in to works of art.
Oh Joy!: Super well known for a reason, Joy, a design and branding consultant, always posts a wonderfully curated selection of colorful finds from around the web.
