Neon nails

I've spotted neon nails both in various fashion mags and on girls around NYC for a while now. Thought at first I found the intense shades jarring, now I think they look kind of fun, a way to shake up the usual pinks and reds I wear on a daily basis.

I would have never thought hot, neon pink lipstick could look so fresh and pretty! Would you dare?

Crimson tide

I've always like the red-lips-uber pale skin look; there's something about it that screams film noir, glamorous 30's screen starlet. Despite the fact that my natural complexion is somewhere between pasty and chalk white, I've never tried for the look, preferring instead to slather myself in bronzer. A slew of pretty, pale-skin-red-lips looks hitting the runways and the press has made me re-think my tactics. Perhaps this fall will be the time I embrace my natural, pale self!
